What I want to do

Untitled-1.png

My research agenda is situated at the intersection of computational design, children, and human wellness/education. I approach this area in two ways:

  1. For neurodiverse or underserved communities, I utilize digital fabrication and child-machine interaction technologies to address specific challenges they face in the real world, developing prototypes for assistive or therapeutic technologies.

  2. Exploring the potential applications of emerging technologies in the computing field—such as AR, VR, user-centered AI, and digital fabrication—in children's Learning processes.

To ensure my designs are sensitive to the needs of children, with the ultimate goal of achieving real-world application, I employ user-centered participatory design methods and conduct in-depth field studies to evaluate the user experience and impact of my designs. My work aims to create an equal, inclusive, and child-centered user experience through thoughtful design.
